IFG US's client is looking for a Director of Finance to join their team. They titled it Director of Finance, but really it's a blend of accounting and finance. It currently manages a team of 10 accountants.
It will be involved in the close process, budgeting/forecasting, financial strategy, compliance, etc.
The succession plan is for this person to eventually fill the VP Finance and CFO roles in the future!
In-office policy: 5 days a week in the office.
Compensation: Up to $178,000 base
Responsibilities:
- Oversee accounting, month-end/year-end close, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data for trends, variances, and cost-saving opportunities
- Review and improve financial processes for better controls and efficiency
- Support leadership in financial planning, budgeting, and risk management
- Manage cash flow forecasts and oversee investment strategies
- Provide clear financial insights to aid decision-making across departments
- Ensure exceptional customer service and represent the company positively
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field; CPA license required
- Experience in accounting for both for-profit and non-profit, ideally in healthcare
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office
