IFG’s client is hiring a strong, energetic Senior Accountant experience who can hit the ground running in a revenue accounting role. You will work on all aspects of the revenue accounting process, including contract review for revenue implications under ASC 606, review of accounting system set-up of contractual terms, month-end and quarter-end close activities, and post-close financial reporting. This position requires impeccable attention to detail, a technical understanding of ASC 606. This will be a leadership opportunity as the Senior Accountant will assist the Controller with integrating the acquisitions into the company in every facet of accounting. This created a fast-paced culture ripe for earning career growth and promotion within the organization.
This job can be performed REMOTELY the vast majority of the time, however their headquarters is in downtown Chicago and the Senior Accountant can choose to work in the office if they that is their preference.

Requirements
- +3 years of accounting experience that includes month-end close
- Public accounting strongly preferred
- CPA strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s in accounting related field required
- NetSuite strongly preferred
- Self-starter
