Accounting Manager
The Accounting Manager oversees all accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of 10+ full- and limited-service properties, managing a team of 2–3 property accountants and partnering closely with on-site operational teams.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise, train, and develop property accountants; delegate work, manage deadlines, and conduct performance reviews.

Oversee accurate and timely month-end close and financial reporting (GAAP or tax basis), including debt service and capital transactions.

Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure proper segregation of duties.

Manage cash flow, including forecasting weekly cash needs, processing payables, payroll, and debt service.

Perform treasury functions, including initiating electronic payments and managing online banking activity.

Ensure accurate and timely preparation and filing of agency tax reports; coordinate tax audits and resolve findings.

Partner with operations to improve financial processes and drive efficiency.

Review and analyze lease transactions for proper accounting treatment.

Track capital assets, renovation projects, and depreciation.

Support annual audits and assist in budget preparation.

Prepare financial, statistical, and operational reports.

Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Supervisory accounting experience in the hospitality industry required.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
