IFG US is partnering with an established organization in public health and environmental services, seeking an experienced Bid/Contract Specialist to join its Customer Care team.
This position is based in the western Chicago suburbs with a hybrid work environment that requires a minimum of three days per week in the office.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
This position plays a critical role within the Customer Care team by managing the end-to-end process of customer bids and sales contract administration. The ideal candidate will help develop and maintain effective bid and contract management processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance with bid requirements, and alignment with internal policies and procedures. Additionally, this position provides general Customer Care support to customers and internal stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of experience in bid management, contract administration, sales operations, or a similar role
- Experience supporting commercial or government sales activities preferred
- APMP Bid/Proposal Certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Experience with contract management software or CRM systems; prior experience with Salesforce is preferred
- Excellent phone and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
