IFG US’s client is looking for a Director of Finance and Accounting to join their team. The Director of Finance and Accounting will lead financial strategy and operations, ensuring financial health and supporting organizational growth. This role involves managing budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance while collaborating with executive leadership to provide strategic insights. Key duties include developing financial policies, guiding a finance team (manages 6 accountant now with more to follow), and maintaining relationships with external partners like auditors and banks.
In-office policy: 5 days a week in the office.
Compensation: $120K – $150K (dependent on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Oversee accounting, month-end/year-end close, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data for trends, variances, and cost-saving opportunities
- Review and improve financial processes for better controls and efficiency
- Support leadership in financial planning, budgeting, and risk management
- Manage cash flow forecasts and oversee investment strategies
- Provide clear financial insights to aid decision-making across departments
- Ensure exceptional customer service and represent the company positively
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field; CPA license required
- Experience in accounting for both for-profit and non-profit, ideally in healthcare
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office
