Financial Analyst

Location: Glendale Heights, IL Type: Direct Hire Job #28296 Salary: $65,000 Summary IFG US’s client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join their finance team. The Financial Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. This position involves analyzing financial trends, preparing reports, and collaborating with various departments to support informed decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Populate and maintain financial statements with actual figures. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial reports by cross-referencing with source documents. Prepare and distribute financial reports to stakeholders in a timely manner. Analyze financial data and trends to support forecasting and budgeting activities. Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to maintain data accuracy. Develop and manage financial models and spreadsheets for various analytical needs. Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information. Verify the accuracy of financial records and ensure they align with accounting standards and company policies. Identify opportunities for improving financial reporting processes and data management. Implement and manage best practices for data integrity and reporting efficiency. Maintain thorough documentation of financial transactions and processes. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls. Work closely with other finance team members and departments to gather necessary data and insights. Provide support for audits and respond to financial inquiries from internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar role. Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting. Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations. Advanced Excel skills; experience with ETL processes is a plus.
