This is a newly created role with high visibility within the company. About the Role: Director of Accounting (Operations) The Director of Accounting supports the oversight of accounting, financial controls, and analysis for the organization’s operating facilities. This role is responsible for managing the monthly and quarterly close process, leading financial reviews of assigned business units, and overseeing the accounting and analysis of certain company-wide expense categories. The position also participates in operational meetings, assists with the implementation of new accounting standards, and contributes to various accounting, analytical, and special projects as needed. Responsibilities: Leads the period-end accounting close process for all operating facilities, including additional processes at quarter-end and year-end Monitors intercompany transfer rates throughout the year and recommends adjustments Develops and implements processes to track intercompany transfers Ensures facility allocations are accurate and updated at least annually Prepares monthly financial summaries and key performance indicators (KPIs) for executive review Partners with other management on strategic initiatives and capital improvement projects Analyzes the financial performance of individual sites and overall operations to support business decisions, optimize profitability, and improve efficiency Meets regularly with operations management to review financial results Contributes to the preparation and review of materials for Board of Directors meetings Provides documentation and support for management meetings regarding facility performance Identifies and implements process improvements to enhance efficiency and strengthen internal controls Collaborates with other finance and accounting functions to ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions in compliance with US GAAP Works with functional leaders and segment-level finance to develop annual budgets for operating facilities and supports the quarterly forecasting process Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field 8+ years of experience in accounting, with a preference for manufacturing or environmental services industry Apply Now

About the Role: Senior Accountant This role offers the opportunity to be a key contributor on a variety of initiatives, including supporting acquisitions, preparing journal entries and account reconciliations, compiling financial reports, and assisting with special projects as needed. The Senior Accountant applies broad accounting expertise to provide support across multiple areas of the business. This role will play an active part in shaping processes, leading change, and fostering collaboration across teams while maintaining transparency and accountability. It is a highly visible position that supports the business by delivering reliable and timely financial insights, helping stakeholders make informed decisions.
