Partnership/Joint Venture Accountant is responsible for the following:

  • All accounting transactions for the partnerships and joint ventures
  • Partnership/Joint Venture Accounting
  • ASC 810 (Consolidated Financial Statements)
  • Unconsolidated Financial Statements  
  • Account Analyses 
  • Accruals 
  • Journal Entries (including eliminating journal entries)
  • Bank Reconciliations 
  • Accounts Payable 
  • Expense Reports
  • 1099 Reporting 
  • Waterfall Calculations
  • Contributions and Distributions
  • Capital Projections
  • Budget and Forecasts
  • Compliance with GAAP

Skills / Experience / Attributes:

  • Yardi Voyager 
  • Microsoft Excel and Word  
  • 5-7 years in Partnership and Joint Venture Accounting
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Team Player
  • Problem Solver
  • Proactive
  • Analytical
