IFG is partnering with an organization in Chicago looking to add a Senior Accountant to their team. The role is open due to growth. They are on a hybrid basis of three days a week in the office.
Responsibilities
- Involved/participate in the monthly close process, including the preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Assist with the compilation of supporting schedules used by external auditors in their reviews and year-end audit.
- Responsible for establishing and implementing process improvements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Active CPA or in process highly preferred
- 3+ years of relevant and progressive accounting experience, preferably with a combination of public accounting and industry accounting experience.
