The Role
As a Senior Audit Associate, you’ll work closely with audit managers and firm leadership to deliver exceptional client service. You’ll play a hands-on role in leading projects, managing key engagement tasks, and supporting business development efforts. Your contributions will have a direct impact on client outcomes and the firm’s success.
What You’ll Do
- Lead portions of audit and assurance engagements, guiding staff and supporting managers.
- Oversee and complete essential engagement tasks, from planning to execution.
- Build strong client relationships through effective communication and service delivery.
- Contribute to team development by mentoring junior staff.
- Collaborate with leadership on strategic initiatives and firm growth.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s preferred).
- CPA license or active CPA-eligibility required.
- Minimum of 3 years in public accounting, including at least one busy season in a senior/supervisor role.
- Audit/assurance experience in industries such as construction, manufacturing/distribution, technology, or M&A strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted client relationships.
- Commitment to continuous learning, professional ethics, and high-quality results.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and audit/accounting software.
