IFG is partnering with a financial services organization in Chicago looking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst. Reporting to the Senior Director FP&A and working close by the CFO, this role will support the business unit with monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial analysis, variance analysis, market analysis, and ad-hoc reporting.
Requirements:
- Development and execution of the company's financial strategy, aligning financial goals with overall business objectives
- Compare and analyze incentive fees against business production, reporting variances and findings
- Conduct research on revenue variances by client and identify root causes for these variances
- Partner with the Accounts Receivable team to strategize and improve collections
- Prepare/evaluate complex financial reports, providing insights and recommendations for revenue enhancement and cost recovery
- Develop/maintain intricate financial models that provide a basis for strategic financial planning and forecasting
- Utilize advanced financial modeling techniques to simulate various financial scenarios, enabling the company to make informed decisions about investments, resource allocation, and risk assessment
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities. Provide data-driven insights to guide decision-making related to market expansion or diversification
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Master's degree or relevant certification, such as CFA, is preferred
- 3+ years’ demonstrated experience with financial analysis
- Experience in mortgage, servicing, or similar industry strongly preferred
- Experience in Planful or similar FP&A Reporting software preferred
- Strong skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
