IFG US’s client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff Accountant to join their dynamic team. Reporting directly to the CFO and with a dotted line to the Director of Revenue Accounting, this role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. The Senior Staff Accountant will be responsible for reviewing, reconciling, and maintaining accounting standards to uphold the integrity of financial information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify and analyze financial data to ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting information.
- Assist in the preparation of analyses, estimates, and journal entries during the month-end close process.
- Review trial balance details to confirm the accuracy of GL accounts for posted transactions and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare reconciliations for bank accounts, accruals, fixed assets, and other accounts, ensuring accurate accrual capture during month-end close.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to analyze and resolve cost and inventory variances, including COGS/inventory transactions, purchase price variances, and manufacturing variances.
- Work closely with accounts payable and accounts receivable teams.
- Assist in annual audits and tax preparation processes.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and consolidations.
- Participate in margin and profitability metrics analysis.
- Review, validate, and assist with the filing of sales tax returns.
- Contribute to the development of processes and procedures to enhance financial controls and data integrity, implementing changes and tracking performance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance, including general ledger and reconciliation experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experience with ERP systems.
