Staff Accountant
IFG's client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join their growing finance team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and timely financial statements and recording balance sheet and income statement activity in accordance with GAAP. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to expand their skills in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities

Prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with established reporting schedules.

Research, analyze, and summarize financial activity to support business decision-making.

Review and interpret general ledger activity to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Partner with internal teams, including Finance and Asset Management, to resolve discrepancies and recommend process improvements.

Assist with year-end audits and provide required documentation to external auditors.

Support special accounting projects and ad hoc initiatives as needed.

Maintain strong personal and professional integrity while adhering to internal policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

2–3 years of professional accounting experience.

Experience in a real estate or asset-based environment strongly preferred.

CPA certification or active pursuit preferred.
