IFG-US is working with a well-established construction organization seeking a senior finance leader to step into a VP of Finance role. This position will partner closely with executive leadership to oversee financial strategy, reporting, and operational performance, while preparing to transition responsibilities from a planned retirement over the next year.
This is a highly visible, in-office leadership role that requires someone who can operate both strategically and hands-on in a project-based environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, and overall business strategy alignment
- Oversee accounting operations, reporting, and close processes in accordance with GAAP
- Manage cash flow, treasury functions, and risk mitigation efforts
- Partner with operational leaders to drive project profitability and cost efficiency
- Support contract evaluations, job costing, and financial performance analysis
- Build and develop a high-performing finance team
Requirements:
- CPA required (non-negotiable)
- Construction industry experience required (non-negotiable)
- 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including leadership roles
- Strong background in corporate or business unit finance environments
- Ability to work fully on-site (5 days/week) in the Rosemont, IL area
Additional Details:
- Compensation range: $180K–$200K base + 20–25% bonus (flexibility for top candidates)
