Provide training and guidance to program managers on financial policies, budgeting, and grant compliance. Assist with audit preparation, site visits, and cost reporting required by external funders or regulatory bodies. Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Advanced credentials such as a CPA or master’s degree preferred. Minimum of three years of progressive accounting experience, including grant and financial reporting; experience in nonprofit or healthcare settings is strongly preferred. Proven experience managing federal, state, and foundation grants. Strong proficiency in Excel for analysis and reporting. Experience with modern accounting systems (e.g., Sage Intacct or similar) preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments. This role will focus on monthly close, journal entries, account reconciliations, fixed asset tracking, and financial reporting. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Take ownership of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including preparation and posting of journal entries and preparation of financial statements.
