IFG US’s client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join their finance team.
The Financial Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. This position involves analyzing financial trends, preparing reports, and collaborating with various departments to support informed decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Populate and maintain financial statements with actual figures.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial reports by cross-referencing with source documents.
- Prepare and distribute financial reports to stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Analyze financial data and trends to support forecasting and budgeting activities.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to maintain data accuracy.
- Develop and manage financial models and spreadsheets for various analytical needs.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Verify the accuracy of financial records and ensure they align with accounting standards and company policies.
- Identify opportunities for improving financial reporting processes and data management.
- Implement and manage best practices for data integrity and reporting efficiency.
- Maintain thorough documentation of financial transactions and processes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
- Work closely with other finance team members and departments to gather necessary data and insights.
- Provide support for audits and respond to financial inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with ETL processes is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
